26th November 1993 - SAINT LUKE’S - Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus
I saw Our Lady briefly; She was dressed in white, and there was a pink rose on either foot. Then I saw Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus. She was holding a cross near her heart and the cross was bordered with roses. She spoke to me and this is the first time I have heard her speak; her voice was very gentle in tone. She said, “Keep the cross – and the cross alone – close to your heart. Allow the cross to become embedded in your heart.”
She then took a little rose which was near the heart of Jesus on the figure on the cross and she gave it to me and said, “My prayers for you will serve to protect and strengthen you, so that your heart will love Jesus, and He alone; your heart will love the Heart of the Saviour, Who so loves you. Then the love you feel for others – God’s gift to you – will pour through the heart of Jesus; you will love others through the Heart of Jesus, burning with love for you.”
I saw little roses on the floor of the Altar and realised that they were the intentions prayed through the Rosary, and Saint Theresa would arrange them around the cross. I saw how praying the Rosary brings us close to the Crucified Saviour; our prayers adorn the Cross. I remember Our Lady once said, “The Rosary adorns the Cross.”
Then Saint Theresa said, “Pray for Priests and Religious. Pray for those priests who are finding it difficult to remain faithful in love to the Heart of Jesus. Pray for those priests who struggle in interior turmoil with conflicting emotions. Pray for priests who are burdened with feelings of guilt or despair. Pray for those priests who find great difficulty in accepting the True Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Pray for those priests experiencing great difficulties in their lives. Pray for them through the Suffering Heart of Jesus.
Pray that all Religious Sisters may joyfully live lives founded on prayer and sacrifice. Pray that prayer may be the way of life of the Bride of Christ. Pray that the Religious Sisters may love Christ in the Eucharist – adoring Christ – possessing Christ within them. Pray that each sister in Religion can live a life prayerfully united to the Heart of Jesus Crucified. Pray that each Community of Sisters may be united in love – strengthened in prayer – filled with the joy of God’s Love in their hearts.
Keep the Cross in your heart, my sister; pray for strength of heart, purity of heart, peace of heart. Unite your heart to your loving Saviour’s Heart. I will pray for you.”
